01Operating company

The company behind the console.

ASL Logistics B.V. is a freight operator, not a software vendor — the telemetry exists so that the cargo moves on plan.

02Mission

Move freight that never goes dark.

Our mission is narrow on purpose: operate trade lanes between Europe and Asia where every consignment is visible, every routine step is automated, and every deviation is owned by a named operator within minutes of detection.

We measure ourselves on operational numbers — dwell time at port, exception resolution time, milestone accuracy — and we publish those numbers to the customers they belong to. A shipper should never learn about a problem from their consignee.

03The doctrine

Automation-Surveillance, in three principles.

The doctrine is the company. It decides what we build, what we buy, and what we refuse to do by hand. Written in 2022, applied to every process since.

P1

Instrument everything

A shipment that cannot report on itself is a liability. Every consignment enters the network with a telemetry profile — position at minimum; door, temperature, and shock sensing where the cargo warrants it. Every handoff between parties is logged with a timestamp and a location. There are no unmonitored legs, because an unmonitored leg is where visibility dies.

P2

Automate the routine

Most of logistics is repetition: confirmations, milestone notices, document lodgement, arrival alerts. Repetition done by hand is slow and drifts. At ASL these run as automated processes against the system of record — a booking triggers its own paperwork, a discharge event triggers its own notices. People are too expensive, and too good, to spend on work a rule can do.

P3

Escalate by exception

Surveillance is not staring at dashboards. The watch floor defines what on-plan looks like for every leg — corridor, schedule, dwell budget — and the system stays silent while reality matches plan. The moment it does not, a human owns the deviation until it is resolved and the resolution is logged. Attention goes where the anomaly is.

04Governance

Compliance is an operating condition.

ASL Logistics B.V. is registered in the Netherlands and operates licensed customs brokerage at Rotterdam, Hamburg, and Singapore. Our security management practice is aligned to ISO 28000, and customer telemetry data is handled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation — location data belongs to the cargo owner, is shared only with parties on the manifest, and is retained on a defined schedule, not indefinitely.

Every exception, intervention, and manual override on the watch floor is logged and auditable. If we touched your shipment, the record says who, when, and why.

05People

The doctrine is run by people. Meet them.
